When Good Life is the right answer
The honest case for the entry line, including when it is not the right call.
When the alternative is treated wood
This is the real comparison. Good Life costs more up front than pressure-treated lumber and less over its life, because there is no staining, no sanding and no board replacement in year eight.
Large decks on a fixed budget
On a big surface the price per square foot decides the project. Good Life is often what makes the deck you actually want buildable at the size you actually need.
Rentals and resale-minded projects
A 25 or 30-year warranty comfortably outlasts most ownership periods. Paying for a lifetime warranty you will not be there to claim is not always good value.
Where it is not the answer
A very low deck over damp ground, or a poolside surface, asks for more cap coverage or for PVC. We will tell you when the entry line is the wrong economy.

It depends on the collection: 30 years performance, stain and fade on the Escapes colours, and 25 years on the Weekender solids. Commercial installations carry a 10-year limited warranty instead.

Meaningfully, yes — it is priced closer to wood than to Concordia. What you give up is warranty length and cap coverage, not the recycled core, which is the same 94% recycled material.
Against treated wood, yes. Over twenty-five years a wood deck absorbs stain, labour and replacement boards that comfortably exceed the difference. The comparison that makes composite look expensive is the one that stops at year one.
It is done — Good Life on the main field with a premium board as a picture-frame border, for example. We would rather talk you through it on site than have colours and thicknesses fight each other.
